Ontex was founded in Belgium in 1979 and is listed on Euronext Brussels.To reinforce our Procurement team we are looking for a Group Procurement Market and Cost intelligence ManagerMission and Key Tasks> Market Research and Analysis Gain deep market understanding of different raw material categories including petrochemical and pulp/paper feedstocks that are the source of most raw materials used by Ontex Develop a market intelligence dashboard from multiple data sources to map raw material supply and demand balance, outlook, supplier profiles, trade data analysis, category news and trends, and forecast commodity price indices, etc.  Support Group Procurement Category Managers by providing input and recommendations for sourcing strategy preparation and decision-making processes Perform risk management to monitor financial, supply chain, and commodity risks, including financial hedging, and propose risk mitigation measures. > Cost Analysis and BenchmarkingWork closely with Group Procurement Category Managers to: Find savings through continuous benchmarking of different components of raw materials, indirect goods, and services Increase leverage in more fact-based negotiations Develop costs models and margin analyses to assess supplier economics Roll out and align the Should-Costing Process with key suppliers, as to manage the cost by implementing and running a structured benchmarking process and by initiating and developing Cost Roadmaps Assist in analyzing quotations and bids and in developing recommendations.> Data Management and ReportingConduct in-depth analysis to assess the effectiveness of current market & cost intelligence processes and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, and drive further development of the strategic 3-year roadmap for the procurement market- and cost intelligence activity. Establish and maintain a centralized repository of market & cost intelligence data, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality Develop and utilize data visualization tools and dashboards to present complex information in a clear and actionable manner Generate regular reports, presentations, and executive summaries to communicate findings, recommendations, and key insights to stakeholders Stay updated on the latest data analysis and visualization techniques to enhance reporting capabilities. Manage the Group Procurement Junior Market & Cost Intelligence Analyst.Background and Experience Master’s degree in economics, business, sciences, or engineering 5-8 years of work experience in a similar function Proven experience in market research, competitive intelligence, cost analysis, or related areas within procurement Familiarity with market research databases, industry reports, and data sources Familiarity with financial analysis techniques, should cost modelling, and benchmarking methodologies Proficiency in data analysis and visualization, such as PowerBI, to derive insights and present findings effectively Up-to-date knowledge of market trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes relevant to procurement Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, structure, and interpret complex data sets Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the capacity to work independently Fluent in English, knowledge of any other language is an asset.
