We’re looking for a passionate, autonomous & organised Account Executive & Trafficker NL. This role is a part-time Account Executive and a part-time Trafficker to take care of the planning management of the agency. I. An Account Executive supports the Account Manager. I am not at the bottom rung of the ladder. I play an important role in the relationship with the client. I offer peace of mind to the client and the agency. I am the person who ensures flawless deliveries of excellent quality. He/she supports the Account Manager in his/her tasks: coordinate various projects from briefing to delivery, including budget follow-up and planning. Has an eye for detail: performs detailed checks of copy, design… before anything goes out. Is critical of everything we deliver. Takes a structured approach and is well organised. Shows interest in clients and projects. Keeps clients and the AM well informed about his or her work. Is responsible for overcoming any difficulties and finding solutions during the project with the support of the AM. Strives to support the AM as well as possible in the tasks assigned to him/her and to proactively take on some of the AM’s work. Support for the Account Manager An Account Executive takes on the following tasks under the AM’s supervision for a number of clearly defined projects: Daily supervision and quality guarantee Is responsible for the day-to-day follow-up of projects. Creates a clear project structure and acts accordingly. Actively manages the project and reports any problems to the Account Manager in a timely manner. Every job that comes into the agency must flow through these departments on time, and it is the traffic ker’s responsibility to make sure that happens based on the requests, briefing and retro-planning of the Accounts. This job implies the following tasks: keep everything running smoothly, despite the constant changes and demands of the Account Team. Ensure that every request coming from the account team is complete (Briefing, Retro-planning, Outputs, Tech Specifications, Visual Guidelines etc…). Manage and do the puzzling of the different resources to optimize the planning. Human-centric We always start from human beings and put them at the centre of our thinking throughout the whole process. You’ll need to start from target audience insights, create personas and represent the audience during campaign development in a substantiated way. You’ll also need to be able to shut off your personal bias as much as possible. Wicked problems If you’re familiar with the term, ‘wicked problems’ are our playground. True, not all our projects are fully wicked. Some are just complex or complicated, and you may even come across some simple ones. But remember that handling complexity will be part of your job. Experience We’re looking for a ‘Senior’ Strategic Planner - someone with more than a decade of strategic expertise. You should be able to work with other strategists and coach younger strategists. Fields of experience It may surprise you, but preferably we’d like your experience to be mainly in the private sector, although some knowledge of the EU is useful obviously. And if it comforts you, we also suffer from a natural aversion to electoral and political party campaigns. International It would be great if you had experience with international campaigns preferably in Europe. Not necessarily with continent-wide campaigns, but having experienced the thrill of communicating in a consistent way with different cultures is important. The extras An interest in nudging, behaviourism and what makes people tick are an extra bonus. Not that we want you to be a behavioural expert or expect you to have a PhD in it, but it would be nice if you are curious and that names like Ariely, Sunstein, Tversky and Kahneman ring a bell. Or, you know what, forget names: it’s rather their ideas, theories and research that should ring a bell. (Talking of bells, we recently came up with a campaign called ‘DingDong’ to bring about behaviour change. Funny coincidence.) Languages It’s not important for us where you come from, but please be aware that our offices are in Brussels (in between the Royal Palace and Matonge). We’re an international team so you really need to be fluent in English (speaking and writing). And, all things being equal, knowledge of French can be an advantage but is not required.
