Your primary responsibilities will be to characterize the epigenetic profile of circulating nucleosome by analyzing Mass Spectrometry data and clinical data. In this role, you will work closely with the R&D Director, the whole R&D team as well as external collaborators to provide datasets generated from patient samples enabling the identification of clinically relevant novel biomarkers for early cancer detection. A new Pharmaceutical CRO is looking for a Scientist experienced in Immunology and flow cytometry who is interested in joining a team of experienced professionals in Belgium. If you are interested in doing work related to Immuno:oncology and conducting, optimizing and validating a wide variety of existing and new in v functional assays, then this might be exactly what you are looking for Within this fast:growing CRO, you will be able to combine practical and theoretical work which will allow you to still be scientifically challenged while developing more practical skills. Moreover, every scientist in this company takes also a Project Leader role and has a direct contact with the clients which will ensure a greater involvement and control over the process/project and makes it easier to have satisfying results.Responsibilities: * Perform cellular assays according to the Standard Operation Procedures; * Participate in the development and optimization of cellular assays; * Analyze data and write technical and scientific reports; * Plan and organize your daily, weekly and monthly projects in coordination with the team to ensure delivery on budget and on time; * Guide, train and support laboratory technicians to ensure quality work is delivered as planned; * Support the sales and business development team in drafting and reviewing project proposals; * Plan, coordinate and oversee progress of assigned projects intervening where necessary to stay on track; * Manage suppliers, partners and subcontractors to ensure their roles are completed as expected; * Report internally and externally (to client) on project progress and results; * Respond to client inquiries and identify new project opportunities with returning clients; * Reinforce and implement quality standards through continuous improvement strategies; * Participate in conferences and review literature to stay up to date on progress in the field; * Prepare and deliver technical and scientific presentations (talks, posters and webinars).Requirements: * PhD in Immunology; * Practical experience with immune:cells; * Experience with flow cytometry, ideally with Fortessa, MACSQuant, or FACSMelody, or similar; * Fluent level of English, French is a plus.Benefits: * Work for a small:sized CRO and enjoy personal atmosphere; * Work on a few projects at the same time and become an expert in the field; * Moving to a new building next year with the newest equipment available; * Work in one of the Top European Biotech Hubs.
